Abstract
The heart can send waves to other hearts as a radio-station and it can receive waves in various frequencies from the sun and from other hearts through its electro-magnetic field. Good emotions as love, forgiveness, appreciation and joy keep the heart healthily, but bad emotions as anger, fear, hate and envy can damage the heart and can cause heart-diseases. A pure heart is an important fact in Islam and Sufism, and a pure heart is needed to perceive Allah`s presence. The heart must be free of bad desires. Mysticism is a part of all religions. Sufism as a mystical part of Islam shows the connecting qualities of the heart. The role of the heart in Islam is important and we can read it in the Koran. Philosophy, psychology and medicine must consider that the soul is not in the brain but in the heart, and treatment must be focused on the heart.
